    Presenting Data (Graphs)

    • Use short, clear sentences
    • Use linking words: First, Then, After that, Finally
    • Focus on one or two key points in the graph – don’t describe every detail
    • Use gestures or point to the screen when speaking

    Structure

    1. Introduction:  

       “Let’s look at this bar chart. It shows…”

    1. Description of the trend:  

       “As we can see, sales increased in March.”

    1. Comparison:  

       “Compared to January, the numbers doubled.”

    1. Summary:  

       “Overall, we can say that the campaign was successful.”

    Example 1:
    “This bar chart shows how many people visited our website. We can see a small increase in February. In March, the number doubled. Overall, it’s a positive trend.”

    Example 2:
    “This pie chart shows the market share of different brands. Brand A has the biggest part – 50%. Brand B has 30%. In conclusion, Brand A is the leader.”
